Amika Mobility Server (TM) is the world’s first WiFi-integrated emergency mass notification system that broadcasts over selected areas in addition to alerting groups over SMS, MMS, email, web and voice. It is deployed on-premise or hosted. |
Innovative Features/Key Benefits: Delivers urgent alerts without end user ID. Recipients targeted by presence at WiFi network locations (hotspots, zones, buildings, departments, etc), so there's no requirement to keep a contact database updated. Leverages existing LAN, WiFi, Internet infrastructure. Delivers targeted text/image/video alerts rapidly. Supports opt-in voice, SMS, MMS, and email alerts also. |
Case Study/Application Overview: The AMS is the world’s first WiFi- and LAN-integrated emergency mass notification solution supporting location-targeted alerts without the requirement for database pre-population. It also supports alerting to groups over SMS, MMS, email, web and voice. Deployable on-premise or in a network operation center (NOC), and is fully scalable. Key distinguishing features of the AMS are: · Zoned Broadcasts- The browser-accessible console allows authenticated security personnel to target broadcast recipients by location or by logical grouping. · Multi-Device Delivery- Text and image broadcasts may be delivered on multiple devices for each user simultaneously: on a mobile laptop, mobile phone, at the desktop, or on the phone. · Situational Feedback- The AMS permits back-channel communications, allowing permission-based silent situational feedback to be received from designated devices/personnel. · Low Cost Operation-provides a low-cost alternative for broadcasting: leveraging on-premise delivery infrastructures and wireless carrier gateways. · Secure Solution- Access to the AMS can be made as secure as needed, even locking down console access to individual, named workstations · Opt-In Self-Registration and Management-The AMS supports a brandable website for your community to opt-in for alerts to SMS, MMS, email, and voice |
